Spa and Massage Business Software in Nigeria: Day Spas, Home-Service Massage, Couples, Gift Vouchers and Memberships

A Nigerian spa sells calm, but runs on chaos: therapists sent to the wrong estate, couples double-booked, Valentine's vouchers written on paper. Here is how day spas and mobile massage businesses book, dispatch, sell vouchers and keep regulars.

Updated September 2026

It is the week before Valentine's in Gwarinpa. Your spa has four therapists, two rooms, forty voucher requests and a phone that has not stopped.

  1. Monday. Forty people ask for Valentine's vouchers on Instagram. You write codes on paper cards. By Thursday you cannot remember which were paid for.
  2. Tuesday. A couples massage is booked for Saturday at 2pm. Only one therapist is free at 2pm. Nobody checked.
  3. Wednesday. A home-service booking in an estate off the expressway. The therapist is sent the estate name. The estate has four gates. She waits forty minutes at the wrong one.
  4. Thursday. A regular asks about the monthly plan you mentioned in December. Nobody set one up.
  5. Saturday. Two voucher holders arrive for the same slot. Both have a paper card. One was never paid for.
  6. Your best therapist gets her own clients through your home-service bookings. They start calling her directly.

What does software do for a spa or massage business in Nigeria?

It runs the business behind the calm. Every enquiry from Instagram, WhatsApp and calls lands in one inbox and gets an instant reply with the menu and a booking link. In-spa bookings go on each therapist's and each room's calendar, so a couples massage never lands on one therapist. Home-service bookings carry the address and time, and the therapist is assigned a task with it, so she goes to the right estate. Gift vouchers are sold in Naira with a value, an expiry and a limit, and redeemed on booking. Memberships renew on their own. Valentine's and Mother's Day campaigns go to the right past clients in one send. Every client, booking and payment belongs to the spa, not the therapist's phone.

A spa sells calm. Behind the door, it often runs on chaos: a phone full of DMs, therapists sent to the wrong gate of an estate, a couples booking on one therapist, and Valentine’s vouchers written on paper cards that nobody can check.

Nigerian spas and mobile massage businesses in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt are growing, and many now do more home and hotel visits than in-spa sessions. That makes the business harder to run from memory, not easier.

Who this is really for

  • The day spa owner with a few rooms, a few therapists and a busy weekend.
  • The mobile massage business where most bookings are at homes, hotels and offices.
  • The owner who is not on the floor, who wants to see bookings and money without calling.
  • The skin clinic that added massage and needs rooms and therapists on one calendar.

Runs onBooking with full address and landmark, therapist assigned as a task, payment before the visit.

Couples massages, bridal parties, birthday groups.

Runs onBookings that need two or more therapists and a room free at the same time.

Where the journey breaks

Stage What usually goes wrong What closes the gap
The enquiry DMs answered between sessions. Clients book the spa that replied first. One inbox. An instant reply with the menu, prices in Naira and booking links for the spa and home service.
The booking Couples booked onto one therapist. Rooms double-booked on Saturday. Each therapist and each room has a calendar. A couples booking needs two therapists and a room free together, or it is not offered.
Home service The therapist gets the estate name. The estate has four gates. The booking form captures the full address, gate or landmark and phone. The therapist is assigned a task with all of it. The client gets a reminder with her name. A booking with an address, not live GPS.
Gift vouchers Paper cards. No record of which were paid, used or copied. Sell gift vouchers in Naira from a link, with a value, an expiry and a use limit. They are redeemed on booking, and you can see which vouchers have been used.
Memberships Promised in December. Never set up. Monthly plans invoiced in Naira on their date, renewing on their own, with member-only booking slots.
Seasons Valentine's and Mother's Day handled with one Instagram post and chaos. Past clients filtered by what they booked and sent one message weeks ahead, with the voucher link and booking link.
The team Home-service clients start calling the therapist directly. Every client, booking and payment belongs to the spa and is on record. Each therapist sees her own calendar and tasks. That is a record, not a guarantee, but it means you know who your clients are.

How the system runs it

  1. An enquiry lands

Instagram, WhatsApp, calls. Instant reply with the menu and links.

  2. The booking checks therapist and room

Only slots with the right therapist and room free are offered.

  3. Home service becomes a task

Full address, landmark and phone on the therapist's task. Reminder to the client with her name.

  4. Voucher or payment

Voucher code redeemed, or payment in Naira through a link, with a receipt.

  5. After the visit

A review request and a rebooking link. Members get their next slot reminder.

  6. Seasonal campaigns

Past clients filtered and messaged weeks before Valentine's and Mother's Day.

The same week, two ways

Forty Valentine's voucher requests

Paper cards. Nobody knows which were paid.

Forty codes sold in Naira. Each one redeemable once, with an expiry.

Couples massage at 2pm Saturday

Booked onto one therapist.

The slot was never offered. They booked 4pm, when two were free.

Home service at an estate with four gates

Forty minutes at the wrong gate.

Gate and landmark on the therapist's task. On time.

Regular asks about a monthly plan

Nobody set one up.

Membership link sent. First month paid that evening.

Two voucher holders, one slot

One unpaid paper card. An argument.

Both codes checked on booking. One was already used. No argument.

  4. 04

    Add your team

Up to 10 logins included. Each therapist sees her own calendar and tasks.

  5. 05

What GrowUp Business does not do

  • GrowUp Business runs the business around the treatment: enquiries, bookings, home-service tasks, vouchers, memberships, campaigns and payments. The massage and the care are your therapists' craft.
  • Home service is a booking with an address and a therapist assigned as a task. There is no live GPS tracking.
  • Your menu, therapists, rooms and home-service form are set up for your spa during onboarding. Gift vouchers and memberships are built in and ready to sell.
  • GrowUp Business collects payments, voucher sales and memberships, sends invoices and receipts, all in Naira. Stock levels for the products you retail sit on your products. Full accounting is a different job.

Common questions

How do gift vouchers work?

You sell gift vouchers in Naira, with a value or percentage off, an expiry date and a use limit per customer. The holder redeems it when booking, and you can see which vouchers have been used. No paper cards to lose or copy.

Can it stop couples bookings landing on one therapist?

Yes. A couples booking needs two therapists and a room free at the same time, so the slot is only offered when they are.

How does home service work?

The client gives the full address, gate or landmark and phone on the booking form. The visit becomes a task for the therapist with all of it, and the client gets a reminder with her name. It is a booking with an address, not live tracking.

Can I stop therapists taking my clients?

No software can stop a person from giving out her number. What changes is that every client, booking and payment is on the spa's record, so you know who your clients are and can reach them yourself.

My business is small. Is it worth it?

A small spa loses the most to the missed DM, the unpaid voucher and the regular nobody reminded. A full build is free for one month with no card, and up to 10 staff logins are included.

I tried software before and my therapists never used it. Why would this be different?

Your therapists only see their calendar and tasks. The replies, reminders, vouchers and renewals run without them. We set it up around your spa, not a template.
