The maths: no-shows are booked hours a week, times the unpaid no-show rate, times your rate, times 4.3 weeks. Fillable hours are your empty hours a week, times the share you believe faster replies and reminders would fill, times your rate, times 4.3. Admin time is the weekly hours you entered times 4.3 times what that hour is worth; it assumes the instant reply, deposit request, reminders and delivery-when-paid take most of those jobs off your people. If your engineer is the one doing them, use his hourly value, because that is what the studio is really paying for the front desk.

A studio's stock is time, and time does not keep. The 10am slot that no-showed with nothing paid is gone. The empty Tuesday afternoon that could have been filled by the artist who DMed at midnight and got no reply is gone. Neither is a marketing problem.
