The maths: enquiries that did not get a fast reply, times your own inspection rate and buy rate, times your margin per car. It assumes the unanswered buyers were as good as the answered ones, which for a Nigerian car buyer messaging five dealers from one search is usually true.

A buyer who sees a clean Camry on Instagram sends "last price?" to five dealers from the same scroll. The one who replies in a minute with a range, the accident and papers answer, and a Saturday inspection slot gets him on the lot. The one who replies at midnight, or never, gets a buyer who inspected somewhere else on Saturday.
